| الإعلان الأول عن الرابطة لم يكن عن طريق الصحف والملاحق الفنية كما هو السلوك المعتاد، بل كان عن طريق وسائل الإعلام الجديدة ومواقع الشبكة الثانية مثل “الفيس بوك” و”اليوتيوب” وغيرهما، وأول الخطوات تحديدا كانت عبارة عن ملف دعائي لا تتجاوز مدته الثلاث دقائق تم وضعه على قناة الرابطة على اليوتيوب بعنوان “رابطة الموسيقيين السعوديين”. هذا الإعلان، كما يقول عضو الرابطة يزيد الغاطي كان خطوة أولية تلاها تواصل شخصي مع بعض القنوات التي يديرها السعوديون من أصحاب المواهب الموسيقية على الموقع الشهير.
